This is the same cockerel catalogued as 'Coq en porcelaine emailleé polychrome. XVIII siècle. La tête et le cou emaillés rouge corail, les plumes polychromes, il est représenteé la queue dressée, sold at Galerie Charpentier, Paris, 25th May 1951, no.45, as illustrated here, the second from the far right.
