The kinji ground delicately embellished in sumi-togidashi with three rakan, one holding a hossu and seated on a Chinese armchair on one side, his two companions on the other tending to a peony plant; with a wood and negoro-nuri netsuke of Hotei and kurumi ojime, signed in raised gold lacquer Toyo with tsuishiu lacquer kao; with wood storage box. 10.2cm (4in) high.
