Of rectangular form, decorated with a child dancing before two adults seated beneath a flowering cherry tree among clouds, the reverse with a view of the Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto, all in gold and slight coloured takamakie, the cord runners, top and base of oki-birame; a sliding panel decorated on the interior with oshidori and revealing a miniature suzuribako fitted with suzuri (inkstone), silver kiku-form suiteki (water-dropper), two fude (brushes) and a knife and signed Toyo with kakihan. 9.5cm (3¾in) high.
