Of double-gourd form, the upper section with a ho-o in flight among paulownia, the lower section inset with two shaped panels enclosing a hung ornate dragon-shaped basket of an ikebana arrangement and a pheasant perched on a cherry tree inlaid in typical Shibayama style, all reserved on a dense hirame ground and bordered by silver lappet collars applied with cloisonné enamel floral sprays and silver rims, signed in a raden reverse Ujitomo; with wood stand. 16.8cm (6 5/8in) high.
