With straight double-edged blade with double fuller over its entire length on each side, regulation ormulu hilt comprising half-basket hilt of foliated bars and a crowned central panel applied with a crown surmounted by a crowned lion, compressed globular pommel roped around the middle, downbent quillon, and spirally-grooved fishskin-covered grip bound with copper wire, in later brass scabbard with two openwork fishskin-lined panels on each side, and two rings for suspension
