Unsigned, Late Edo Period

Comprising a black lacquered bow with red lacquered bamboo binding, eight bamboo arrows with feathered flights and iron target heads, a bow-string case of wicker with a leather loop with horn netsuke-type attachment for the storage of talc or similar, an unusual quiver of tapering tubular form covered in parchment intricately stamped overall with panels of calligraphy, figures and faces, and complete with a stand of natural wood (12)
