This, and the previous lot, are part of a large group of similar shirts, of varying degrees of quality, that were captured by Anup Singh, Maharajah of Bikaner, in Rajasthan when, as General in the army of the Emperor Aurangze, he defeated the last defender of the Adil-Shah dynasty at Bijapur at the Siege of the Adoni Fortress in 1689
