An Indo-Persian Pesh-Kabz
Late 18th Century

With finely watered recurved sharply-pointed blade with reinforced cutting-edge, the spine of T-section chiselled and engraved with running flowering foliage along its entire length to the point, the forte with a raised shaped panel on each face chiselled with scrolling arabesques and foliage, beaked iron hilt en suite with the spine of the blade, and rounded ivory grips (minor damage) of plano-convex section secured by transverse brass pins (some wear)
