With two-stage barrel with elliptical muzzle and fitted with spring bayonet above, octagonal breech engraved 'London' in script along the top flat, signed flat bevelled lock with roller (cock repaired), figured full stock (minor bruising, repaired behind the lock and tang), brass mounts comprising shaped flat bevelled side-plate, butt-plate and trigger-guard, the last with acorn finial, vacant brass escutcheon and brass ramrod-pipes, and wooden ramrod with iron worm (iron parts with some rust patination), private Birmingham proof marks
