A Mahogany Gun Case For A D.B. Flintlock Sporting Gun
By John Manton & Son, No. 6 Dover Street, Circa 1815-20

Partly refitted and lined in green baize for the gun and its accessories, the later mahogany lock-tray with turned bone knob, the interior of the lid with maker's trade label, and the exterior with flush-fitting brass carrying handle and circular escutcheon engraved with owner's crest, a baron's coronet above (minor wear and damage)
