Of pistol form, with large indicator wheel numbered from '1' to '15' and mounted on a faceted pillar, operating against a large spring with thumb extension, and with a rounded anvil fitting against the top of the chimney above the touch-hole, plain tang, border engraved rounded lock and cock each sparsely chiselled with foliage (steel refaced), figured full stock with rounded bird's head butt, border engraved brass mounts decorated with foliage and comprising shaped bevelled side-plate, and trigger-guard with urn-shaped finial
