Four Rowel Spurs
The First Late 16th Century, The Remainder 17th Century

Of iron, the first with slender tapering downcurved heel-band with flattened figure-eight terminals, downcurved neck with single moulding, and floret-shaped rowel; the remainder comprising one with slender tapering heel-band of triangular section with figure-eight terminals, one with hook and heart-shaped button for leathers, downcurved neck, and star-shaped rowel, and two others in excavated condition (one with incomplete neck, and rowel missing) (4)
