With broad flat double-edged blade pierced with three holes at the rebated point and with central fuller on each face at the forte between etched and gilt flowering scrolling foliage, and on one side with the etched and gilt labelled figure of Justice and the inscription 'Die herren Steuren Dein Vnheil Ich Excquiere Ihr Endts vrtheil', and on the other with the labelled figure of Prudence and the inscription 'Wan Ich Das Schwert thue aufheben wunsch ich Dem Sünder Das Ewig Leben', gilt-brass hilt comprising straight quillons cast with a martial trophy on each side and with strapwork and foliage on each side of the swelling tips, the latter each with button finial, large fig-shaped pommel en suite, and cord-bound leather-covered grip
