With straight tapering single-edged blade with narrow fuller along the back for most of its length on each side, iron basket guard (old repair) pierced with slender side-bars on each side, and with an oval aperture for reins on one side, bun-shaped pommel, and later leather-covered grip bound with twisted iron wire (pitted overall)
