Eight Various Continental Rapier And Sword Blades, And Three Hilts
17th Century And Later

The first including one of tapering oval section etched on both sides of the forte with a running wolf and the spurious date '1500', and with a circular brass collection tag numbered '199', and a double-edged sword-blade (reduced) etched on each side at the forte with a running wolf, the date '1756' and a martial trophy (all with some pitting and surface rust); the second comprising a small-sword hilt of cut-steel set with multi-faceted beadwork, and two cast brass sword hilts (11)
