A Cinquedea In Italian Late 15th Century Style
19th Century

With triangular double-edged blade with central fuller along each side, hilt comprising arched quillons with monster-head terminals, iron and brass-mounted hilt with horn grip-scales (damaged and repaired) each widening to a central point on both sides and inlaid with two brass roundels chased with flowering foliage, and arched brass pommel scrolled at the base on each side and decorated with punched circles (iron parts lightly pitted)
