the handle of an undulating form with projecting rectangular sections extending to the lappet shaped terminal, decorated with panels enclosing gnarled foliate branches bearing raised peaches framed by foliate floral sprays, the panels alternating with a foliate spray decorated with the Buddhist Emblems of the Lotus and the Umbrella, the reverse with sectional wan ground and two pierced cash, all reserved on a turquoise ground, the gilt sides incised with foliate floral sprays reserved on a seeded ground
52.7 cm. long.
