the cylindrical sides with everted rim, underglazed, the sides profusely decorated in white on a blue ground with a wide band of inscription on a foliate ground, three floral-filled roundels at equal sides, the interior painted in monochrome turquoise

The inscriptions read; 'Glory to our Lord, the sultan, the Victorious King, the Diligent, the Conqueror, the Holy-warrior Nasir al-Din Muhammad ibn Qalaun.'
