A rare Mughal Quiver and Bowcase
India, 17th/ 18th Century

leather cases covered with velvet, this in turn embroidered with silver and gilt metal thread entwined around yellow silk thread, on a larger scale forming a lattice design, the quiver containing eleven arrows, each with ivory terminals, delicate lacquer decoration and steel points
quiver 64 cm. long
