the tapering double-edged blade with slightly swollen tip, the jade hilt in greyish green with cross-bars and applied gilt forte, the cross bars and the base of the hilt decorated with a flowerhead surrounded by tear-shaped motifs on either side, continuous undulating trefoil and vine motifs along the grips, set with rubies and emeralds
