The youthful figure of Tara cast seated lalitasana on a double-lotus plinth, her right hand resting on her knee holding an amphora, her left hand at chest level, both in kartarimudra, a lotus stalk issuing from her left elbow rising to her shoulder, her tall chignon fronted by a five-leafed diadem; Palden Lhamo portrayed holding a ritual staff in her right hand and a skull-cup in her left, her fierce countenance framed by a tiara of skulls and large pendulous ears, riding side-saddle on a mule, crossing a sea of blood surrounded by mountains.
The taller 10cm (4in) high. (2).
