Heavily cast in classical meditative pose, seated in dhyanasana with hands held in dhyanamudra, dressed in a robe with intricately chased floral borders, opened at the chest to reveal an incised wan character, his serene expression beneath a raised urna, his coiffure of small curls covering his head and usnisa surmounted by a cintamani. 30.5cm (12in) high.
