A gold-splashed bronze censer

17th/18th century
Heavily cast with a flat rim above the waisted neck rising from the compressed globular body, extruding opposing simple 'c'-shaped handles, raised on a gently splayed foot, the recessed base centred with an apocryphal Xuande mark.
5cm (2in) high.
