A rare pair of wucai 'dragon' bowls and covers

Yongzheng six-character marks and of the period
Each of almost conical form raised on a straight foot, the exterior painted in underglaze-blue with two writhing five-clawed dragons emerging from turbulent waters, the details on the dragons, flaming pearls, fire and clouds rendered in green, red, yellow, aubergine and black enamels, the design repeated on the cover, the mouth rim and rim of the cover formed with six evenly spaced notches, the base inscribed with six-character mark in three columns within a double circle, paper and silk stands.
20.2cm (7 3/4in) diam. (6).
