Arabic manuscript on paper, 159 leaves, 27 lines to the page written in maghribi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in black, green, yellow and orange, coloured dots between verses, margins ruled in red and blue, catchwords in wide margins, sura heading in ornamental maghribi in red and blue, two coloured headpieces with medallions extending into outer margins, some repairs affecting areas of text, discoloration, colophon within a panel with outer borders decorated with arabesques in various colours, brown morocco with blind-tooled central medallions and borders, with flap, 215 x 166 mm.; and a small manuscript of prayers, North Africa, late 19th Century, Arabic manuscript on paper, five lines to the page written in a cursive script in black ink, significant words picked out in red, boards, loose
