A large gem-set and enamelled gold Pendant (tazra)
Morocco, 19th Century

of cusped circular form, a central ruby surrounded by a band of small emeralds, in a circular panel of pierced floral design enamelled in polychrome, six small oval gemset bosses around the circumference, the reverse similarly enamelled, suspension loop at top, necklace of pearls
pendant 7 cm. wide; length with necklace 40 cm.
