Arabic manuscript on paper, 26 leaves, 17 lines to the page written in elegant muhaqqaq script in brown ink, diacritics and vowel points in brown, gold roundels marking verse endings, sura headings written in thuluth in gold within gold panels, margins ruled in gold and blue, verse-counts in gold in margins, repairs affecting areas of text, modern brown leather binding tooled in Mamluk style
