A Seljuk bronze Mirror
probably Anatolia, 13th Century,

the spiralling ribbed handle with bud terminal, the forte pierced, surmounting a circular plate incised with a central radial sun-burst, surounded by a band of continuous chain motif, within an inscription-filled border with alternating leaf and floral rosettes at equal junctions
23.7 cm. long
