A cased pair of 20 gauge No. 2 sidelock ejector shotguns by Aguirre & Aranzabal

Serial no. 383 and 384, 20 gauge. 28 inch barrels, the concave ribs scroll-engraved at the breeches and numbered in gold 1 and 2 respectively as are the fore-ends and release levers. Single silver beads. Ejectors. Finely scroll-engraved and casehardened actions with detachable locks. Automatic safeties with gold S. Double triggers. Straight stocks of figured walnut with drop points, checkered wrists and checkered butts. Gold escutcheons with CH monogram. Checkered walnut fore-ends with casehardened and scroll-engraved fittings. Complete with blue baize-lined leather trunk case containing cleaning rods and snap caps. Interior of lid with AYA label. Top of lid with leather escutcheon bearing CH monogram.
Condition: Excellent and showing little, if any, use.
