A Berdan Type II bolt action volunteers rifle by Birmingham Small Arms

Not serialized, .41 Centerfire. 33 inch tapered round barrel with bayonet lug and adjustable rear sight graduated to 500 yds. Birmingham proofs with no Russian issue marks. Blued finish. Full walnut stock, left side of buttstock with BSA stamp with crown and date 1870.
Condition: Excellent. Retaining 97-98% blue finish showing some minor pinpoint spotting. Excellent bore. Excellent wood showing minor marks, sharp edges and one area of staining behind action. Sling swivel missing at triggerguard.
