A lot of two Japanese Arisaka Type 99 short rifles

Comprising: 1) Serial no. 16782, 7.7mm, Nagoya Arsenal, First Series, retaining bolt cover, monopod and sight arms. 2) Sn. 606, Tokyo/Kokura Arsenal, 25th Series, no bolt cover, monopod or sight arms.
Condition: 1) Very good. Retaining much blued finish with patches of spotting except for bolt cover which shows brown patina with spotting/light pitting overall. Very clean wood showing hairline crack on either side at wrist. Bolt, cover and action with matching serial numbers. Action with clear mon and markings. 2) Poor. Metal with dark patina and some minor pitting, bolt and action with matching serial numbers, wood showing numerous marks, sanded areas and filled area on left side of wrist.
