A French Model An 13 flintlock cavalry pistol

Not serialized, .69 caliber. 8 inch barrel marked B/C/1811. Tang marked Mle AN 13. Lockplate marked Mre imp/de St. Etienne with crowned J control mark. Brass furniture and walnut stock of standard pattern, the latter stamped with indistinct stock maker's name beside incised name Legat.
Condition: Fair to good. Grey metal with dark smoke patina and areas of light pitting. Lock missing cock and cock screw. Wood with numerous marks.
