A French Model An 9 flintlock cavalry pistol

The 7 7/8 inch .69 caliber barrel retaining faint proof and model markings. Lock marked Mre imp/de St. Etienne with S inspection mark. Brass furniture and walnut stock.
Condition: Poor. Grey metal showing light pitting overall. Lock missing cock, springs and other parts. Fore-end band spring broken, the band possibly from another gun. No ramrod. Wood with numerous marks and cracked above lock.
