An Ottoman flintlock blunderbuss pistol
early 19th century

The 9 1/2 inch barrel inlaid with engraved brass banding and florals. Lock engraved with scrolls and apochryphal inscription. Engraved steel furniture, the counterplate with sling bar. Buttplate inlaid with brass star and crescent. Full stock with carved and incised decoration, the cheekpieces inlaid with silver wire scrollwork.
Condition: Very good. Showing scattered areas of minor pitting. Wood with light marks and some losses to wire inlay.
