A brass-barreled Liegoise flintlock tromblon pistol
circa 1812

The 4 1/8 inch two-stage brass barrel with oval, belled muzzle and simple moldings. Lockplate signed Droixhe. Brass ramrod thimble. Brass triggerguard with engraved bow. Full walnut stock relief-carved with stepped panels and shell behind the barrel tang, the flattened sides of the grip inlaid with silver wire. Brass-tipped ramrod.
Condition: Good. Brass with scattered marks. Lock with dark patina and areas of light pitting. Finial of triggerguard a restoration. Stock with scattered marks, the wrist showing repaired crack and filled area. Minor losses to silver wire.
