A Scottish powder horn
19th century

Having a flat horn plug below a cusped rim pierced with two pairs of suspension holes. Upper end of horn of octagonal section with faceted and ribbed bands below the tip. Large horn stopper in the form of a thistle.
Condition: Excellent.
