The 11 3/4 inch .73 caliber barrels with faceted breeches. One marked 1785 with various letters, the other 1781. Locks of standard pattern, one dated 1785 and marked with a G under a small crown; the other with traces of markings remaining. Brass furniture showing some variation between the two, the wrist escutcheons engraved R. Full stocks of slightly different design. No ramrods.
Condition: Good. Mottled grey metal showing areas of light pitting and wear to markings. Wood showing wear, scattered marks, chipping around locks and losses at fore-end. One with filled cracks at fore-end. The other missing fore-end plate and showing series of cracks to left side at rear pin.
