A scarce U.S. Model 1892 Krag-Jorgensen Type II bolt action rifle

Serial no. 4800, .30-50 Krag. 30 inch barrel. Blued finish with casehardened action marked 1894/U.S./Springfield Armory/4800. Varnished walnut stock with inspector's cartouche dated 1894
Condition: Very good. Showing smooth grey/brown patina with slight traces of blue remaining. Action showing traces of faded casehardening. Stock with scattered minor marks and series of deep bruises to left of action. The buttstock showing repaired cracks above wrist and with long diagonal crack from buttplate tang to behind triggerguard with pinned professional repair.
