An American percussion combination gun

Having 31 inch side-by-side barrels in 20 gauge and .40 caliber. Non-matching back action locks, one marked Jas Goulcher/Warranted, the other Warren/& Steele/Albany. Brass triggerguard, buttplate and cap box. Walnut half-stock with pewter fore-end cap and set with a German silver plaque in the form of a moose head behind the low cheekpiece.
Condition: Fair. Metal with dark patina and areas of light pitting. Wedge and one wedge escutcheon replaced. Wood showing scattered marks and considerable chipping around locks.
