A Marlin Model 1893 lever action rifle

Serial no. 336374 for 1906, .30-30 caliber. 26 inch octagonal barrel marked Smokeless Powder. German silver Rocky Mountain fore-sight. Full magazine. Color casehardened frame, lever and hammer. Varnished walnut buttstock.
Condition: Fine. Barrel retains 98% blued finish showing edge wear and some salt and pepper spotting. Action retains 80-90% vivid casehardening, the forward section with areas of spotting. Hammer and lever with areas of darkened casehardening remaining. Underside of action in front of lever showing small circular mark where something was caught between the lever and the frame. Fore-end missing. Buttstock with scattered light scratches and small chips to varnish.
