A Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle owned by 7th Cavalry Sergeant John Ryan

Serial no. 418227B for 1892, .30-40 caliber. 24 inch round barrel with buckhorn rear sight. Blued finish. Walnut stock and fore-end. With notarized statement of provenance from Sergeant Ryan's great-grand daughter.
Condition: Very good to fine. Barrel and tube with smooth brown patina mixed with blue finish. Action retains much patchy blue finish with light spotting overall. Sound wood showing scattered light dents and scratches.
