A Smith & Wesson 1st Model/3rd Issue revolver

Serial no. 93970, .22 caliber. 3 3/16 inch barrel. Blued finish with casehardened hammer. Varnished rosewood grips.
Condition: Fine to excellent. Barrel and frame retain 80-85% dark blue finish showing areas of thinning on gripstraps and sides of barrel. Cylinder retains much thin blue finish. Hammer with 50% casehardening. Excellent grips with few minor marks and wear to varnish on raised surfaces.
