A Colt Model 1849 Pocket percussion revolver

Serial no. 327325 for 1871, .31 caliber. 4 inch barrel with one-line New York address. Five-shot cylinder with stagecoach holdup scene. Oil-finished walnut grips.
Condition: Good to very good. Barrel with dark brown patina showing 15-20% blue, mainly on underside, scattered small marks around wedge and a vice marks midway on both sides. Cylinder retains probably 50% of scene with a dark brown patina and 40-50% old reblued finish. Lever with traces of faded casehardening colors. Triggerguard/gripstraps with slight traces of silver plating in protected areas, the buttstrap light incised with the monogram JB. Serial number on triggerguard ending in a 1 instead of 5, numbers on barrel, buttstrap and frame have the last two digits overstamped to end in 25, apparently at the factory.
