An Edward VII officers presentation sword by Robert Mole & Son

Straight 32 inch blade etched with panels of strapwork, one side with the Royal arms, the reverse with Royal crown and cipher, presentation inscription Presented to Lieut. F.J.S. Gray/By A Few Of His Colleagues/Manor Hills, Aston, May 1908 and marked on the ricasso Robt Mole & Son/Birmingham./Makers to the/War & India/Offices. Pierced semi-basket hilt with the Royal crown and cipher. Fishskin and silver wire-wrapped grip. Nickel-plated scabbard.
Condition: Blade excellent. Guard has been chemically cleaned and shows light pitting overall. Grip excellent. Scabbard showing areas of bubbling between suspension mounts.
