A Georgian naval officers dirk

Straight 15 inch single edged blade engraved with floral scrolls and with the Royal crown and cipher on one side and the Royal coat-of-arms on the reverse. Gilt bronze hilt comprising an oval plate below the quillon block, straight quillons swelling towards the tips and a pillow pommel. Reeded elephant ivory grip.
Condition: Blade with dark grey patina showing some light pitting and generally sharp engraving. Hilt retains perhaps 25-30% gilt finish. Grip with two minor hairline cracks.
