A continental sporting crossbow
probably 19th century

With steel bow and stirrup. Walnut tiller with naively engraved bone inlays and silver plated engraved brass florettes.
Condition: Fair. Incomplete and missing some parts including finial. Metal parts with dark patina. Losses, scrapes and mars to war.. Some damage to inlays.
