An Italian bombardier's stiletto
mid-17th century

The 8 3/4 inch triangular blade calibrated on one flat 1 to 120. Iron crossguard with ovoid terminals. Ovoid pommel with traces of engraved decoration. Green horn grip set with narrow longitudinal bars.
Condition: Metal with dark patina and areas of pitting. Grip showing wear, one bar missing a small section.
