A lot of two Turkish yataghan
19th century

Comprising: 1) 23 inch recurved blade with silver overlaid florals and gold overlaid inscription. Hilt with marine ivory scales. 2) 23 inch recurved blade with gold overlaid inscription panel and impressed maker's mark. Hilt set with coral stones. Marine ivory gripscales.
Condition: Both blades showing some light pitting, 1) with losses to silver overlay on blade, hilt with pitting overall and slight traces of silver remaining.
