Sharply curved 8 inch blade with heavy median ridge. Hilt covered in heavy gold foil pierced front and back with scrolling floral design, the front set with numerous diamonds, rubies and emerald cabochons. Reverse chased with a design of blossoms and leafy scrolls. With original scabbard covered in green with silk and metallic thread binding and gold and bejeweled tip en suite to hilt. Scabbard retaining suspension strap of leather covered in maroon fabric.
Condition: Blade retaining most original polish with scattered patches of light pitting. Hilt excellent with some minor marks and missing some of the retaining pins. Scabbard showing some fraying to fabric.
