A gold damascened kard
late 18th or early 19th century

The 6 1/2 inch single edged blade showing a faint watered pattern with panels of gold koftgari florals above the hilt. One-piece marine ivory grip. Silver scabbard chased with C-scrolls, the throat with pierced overlay.
Condition: Blade has been cleaned and shows scattered light pitting. Hilt and scabbard fine.
